This volume contains papers presented at the Seventh Z User Meeting which was held in London from 14-15 December 1992. The meeting was organized by the Z User Group and was hosted by the DTI at their offices in Victoria, London.

The papers cover a variety of topics relating to Z, including language issues and reuse, safety-critical systems and timing, object-oriented systems, information systems, and methods, quality and animation. Invited presentations were given by Dan Craigen (ORA, Canada), Andrew Bradley (British Aerospace), Elspeth Cusack (BT) and Glynn Normington (IBM Hursley), all from industrial backgrounds.
